Real-Madrid-2-2-Valencia-match-report-Cristiano-Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo's incredible late acrobatic strike helped keep Real Madrid's bid for the treble alive.
Valencia seemed set to take all three points from the Bernabeu but the Ballon d'Or winner rescued his side once again, swiveling his body magnificently to convert Angel Di Maria's cross.
The inspired goalkeeping of Diego Alves had kept Ronaldo at bay for almost the entire game, but the Portugal forward had the last laugh, volley

Sergio Ramos equalised after Jeremy Mathieu had opened the scoring, but Parejo stuck back to stun Carlo Ancelotti's side.
It had all started so well for Madrid, who took control immediately and enjoyed a long period of pressure.
After three minutes Ronaldo was played in by Asier Illaramendi but his shot was well saved by Alves.
Three more minutes later and Karim Benzema could have scored after Gareth Bale drove for the byline and clipped in a cross with his right foot. The French striker headed it wide of the far post, another warning for Valencia.
They appeared to heed it, beginning to play more calmly and show their attacking intent.
Sofiane Feghouli delivered from the right and Dani Carvajal left Parejo unmarked at the back post.
The midfielder headed it powerfully at goal and it took a spectacular Diego Lopez save to deny him. The goalkeeper reached backwards and tipped it on to the crossbar.
Real legend Iker Casillas will play two of the remaining La Liga matches to keep him fit for the Champions League final, but Lopez showed why Ancelotti has kept him between the sticks in the league so far.
Ronaldo stung the palms of Alves again after beating Ricardo Costa for pace, but from a tight angle it was the best he could do.
Madrid were missing the glue that has been holding the team together this season, in Luka Modric.
The Croat had a slight calf problem so was not selected, which affected Real's rhythm.
